Well if you know me then you already know this is my favorite time of the year! It’s holiday season... And those who really know me know that my favorite holiday is thanksgivings! So, it’s only fitting to do this week's blog about family and being thankful!
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday for a few different reasons, first you get to eat delicious food, second you get to go shopping and get amazing deals but most importantly you get to spend time with your family and loved ones.
It’s literally a day when you come together with family and friends and just enjoy each other's company.
You only get one family and let’s be honest if we could have picked our own families, I'm sure we would have traded a few people... But God assigned us to our families for a reason, so I think you should always create memories and enjoy the family you have. I think this is the perfect time of the year to mend relationships and let go of grudges...
Over the years I have realized that who you consider your family is not always blood related. Sometimes it be the friends that God has placed in your life that treat you better than your actual family ever has and in all honesty that’s fine. I personally don't live by the saying "blood is thicker than water", because sometimes blood will hurt you the worse.
As the holidays approach I want to remind you that it's not about the food at the table on thanksgiving, or the presents that you open on Christmas, but remember it’s about creating memories and spending time with your loved ones because tomorrow is not promised.
I’m going to end this week's blog by just telling everyone who reads and share my blogs that I greatly appreciate the love and support. Also, all the shares and feedback I get from my blog is heartwarming. I am thankful that God has given me the courage to step out on faith and start a blog that has been helping people weekly! Thanks for supporting my dream of becoming a blogger... Happy thanksgiving!
